I knew it was only hitting a button in Steam with a single screen prompt after. Leading up to releasing my game, I was tempted to delay again but I thought I had delayed it enough and could make it this time. With Carpoon within the two week window to launch on Steam, there was no turning back and it was time to accomplish my goal of creating a video game.

There was a moment in July where I felt like my channel was seriously prepping to explode. I was getting thousands more impressions by the sole grace of YouTube. The view count on my older videos began to climb — and they climbed rates that caused the analytics to curve upwards in a way that might suggest a potential for exponential growth. I do a lot of thinking. Too much thinking, I think. But sometimes thinking is all you can do. The past few months I've found myself in a state of perpetual submission to my own fatigue & exhaustion. I've put a great deal of *thought* into the channel, but thoughts only get you so far. They can also start to become a burden after long periods of inaction.

As I'm getting closer to the end of Season 2, I'm just so excited about Season 3 & beyond. I haven't been uploading much non-Retro Odyssey content, but I really want to. I just have these fears about uploading something that isn't to that standard of quality, but then I have to remind myself it really is just YouTube. I have to remind myself it's okay to make extra thin . . .

YouTube for a small channel is very swingy. Both in how your videos perform, and how you yourself interpret their performance.
